If I could afford it, I would get centerpieces I loved.

That said, those are pretty great, especially for free!

MMMMMM I think i’d take the freebies, they are actually pretty nice, and use the money to splurge on something else.

I think they’re fantastic, especially with the flowers in the middle! What did you have in mind if these weren’t an option?

@TinyTina:  I would totally stick to what’s free…they are very pretty!   I understand fully about wanting everything to be your own personal touch but centerpieces can be very expensive and why not save the money??  It’s one day!  I think you’ll appreciate the extra money in the long run.  Just my opinion.  : )

That’s a pretty nice thing to get for free!  Is there a way you could get candles in your color or incorporate your color in another way?  Maybe crystals hanging down like wishing trees, or something around the base?

I think they’re pretty…The fact that they’re free would definitely make me accept them!

i like them too and would totally take the free ones.  my venue charges $80 per centerpiece and would not even send me a picture! um no!  i am having a destination wedding so i cant just fly down to Jamaica to check this stuff out!

but i have to pack some small ones (heart shaped candle holders) i found on the knot store for $12 each.  as for colors, i will be using purple candles and fake red flower petals. so i will be incorporating my colors as well.

so i told you my story as an idea for you – you could probably do flower petals and even ask for or get colored candles to use – all that would be really cheap AND you would get your “colors” in there!

have u asked your venue if they had any upgrades to the center pieces? maybe u can ask if they have other ones that u and your fiance might like and u can pay a little out of your pocket..

It would depend on where I was on my budget. You could always change them up a bit to fit your taste/theme. I think the centerpieces are pretty and can be really elegant. I wouldn’t use them just because they don’t look like “us”.

What if you do both? Pick two different centerpieces, one being the free one and the second one being one you and your fiance design. You can design it so it matches the free ones. My fiance and I will have 30 tables and have three different centerpieces. Hope you figure out what you guys want to do 🙂

tough call! Do you have any pics or an inspiration board of what you wanted your centerpieces to be?
