Pretty! This is what I wanted to do but I couldn’t get over the price of orchids >.<

Cheryleb9:  It’s pretty but I would use a shorter orchid. I prefer the top to be underwater. Are you planning on adding floating candles?

I’d skip the crystals and the mirrored tile. The mirror doesn’t enhance the centerpiece and just reinforces how small the florals are. I would add votives and loose rose petals to bulk up the centerpiece.

Cheryleb9:  there are new battery operated candles. If you end up.switching to silk orchids will there be enough room in the budget to have two or three vases per table?

Cheryleb9:  You can use a heavier weight or add some florist adhesive to adhere the weight to the bottom of the vase.

Please don’t scatter rose petals. When they are used, it is meant to look like they fell from the centerpiece. Rose petals would never fall from an orchid.

The mirror won’t really add any sparkle if you can’t use candles. Can you use LED tealights submerged into a votive holder? If you used votive holders that match the color of the orchid, the tealight will not even be visible. I would add a small crystal vase with just one orchid bloom at the base of the larger vase.

Cheryleb9:  Sorry. I missed the part about the clear light that came with the crystals.
