Finally, we have figured out what we are doing for our centerpieces! Whoo HOO! This has been so hard for me, our reception tables all have umbrellas in the middle of each table:
We had some ideas but nothing was really afforable (we are on a very tight budget…VERY). I found these silk rose candle rings on ebay for $3 to go at the base: (FYI we will be selling after the wedding, have 18 of them)
And i bought these battery operated string lights for $3.50 each (plus batteries $45 for all): http://www.batteryoperatedcandles.net/20-clear-white-wire-p-floral-mini-lights.html
And we are also going to have a plastic silver pumpkin $3 each (but using coupons and buying over the next couple months) from Michaels with a chalkboard sign (12 for $10) like this stuck in it with the table number on it:
What do you all think??

Looks very pretty…we are using chalkboards as well for table numbers!
I have never heard of those rice lights before..we were looking for something battery operated for some of our mason jars…thank you for sharing!

Great ideas. It’s hard to decide what to do with umbrella tables. I think it will look very pretty.

@Irishb: I ordered one to make a mock up of the centerpieces (and to make sure i didnt order all of them at once and they be crap) but they were really nice for such a low price! These would work perfect for mason jars! Good luck
Thanks ladies, i will post the final product after the wedding 🙂

My battery operated sting lights just came in!! YAY! I got them from batteryoperatedcandels.net they were really great, fast shipping and very affordable (If anyone is looking for a place to order battery operated lights)
I will also be trying to sell these after the wedding, along with the purple rose candle rings above…
