Im having and antique sort of antebellum evening wedding and I went yesterday to pick out and order bridesmaid dresses. I had originally planned on doing a pastel pink with ivory and champagne colors, but.....the light pink just didnt compliment my dress very well so we decided on a wine/garnet colored BM dress. Which threw a wrench in my plans because I was going to do white and light pink calla lillies both for the flowers and centerpieces.....So now I need some advice on flowers that are going work color wise with the dresses and ideas for centerpieces. Im up for suggestions... I dont have a very creative or visual mind. Please Help.......
I would still use the light pink and white calla lillies. I think the contrast with the darker dresses would be beautiful and not so matchy matchy. If you want to add a bit of color ask a florist what flowers would best match the bridesmaid dresses. Make sure you bring in a swatch of fabric.
