I have a question for YOU!
I’d like to have a centerpiece giveaway during the reception.
Visual: Tall cylinder glass vases w/ water & rocks… floral arrangements on top.
The issue is that my florist is supplying the vases and we need to give them back to her after the big day. Can I still do a giveaway of the floral arrangements??? Or will guests want the vases and be upset that they aren’t getting to take that along with the pretty blooms? If so, I would rather scratch the giveaway idea altogether.

I wouldn’t be upset but maybe a little confused as to how I should transport a wet bouquet of flowers home.. Maybe if you purchased some cheap glass vases and had someone transfer the arrangements before the guests take them? Might be too much trouble though.. If you’re interested in donating them though, I think that many nursing homes and similar places take floral donations, if you feel like organizing someone to transport them.

Ah, I see what you mean if the stems were in the water!
Actually, the floral arrangement is nested on top of a dish that sits on the centerpiece, kind of like this:

People will assume it includes the vase, so you’ll have to be really clear on what the giveaway is for.

Im having the same dilema…
I think if you just announce for them to leave the vase.. and maybe have some good old fashion foil handy LOL
