Who should the DJ announce the centerpiece goes to?  The person with the next upcoming birthday, or the person with the closest birthday, whether it has passed already or not?

    Thanks!

Is there only one centerpiece? Or is it per table? I'm curious, I've just never heard of giving away centerpieces.  Mine have to be returned to the florist.

They are simple potted plants that we paid for.  This is for my sister's wedding in 2 weeks.  I agree that it should be the next upcoming birthday, but my mom seems to disagree.  I was just curious what others thought.  Thanks!

How about giving it to the couple married the longest?

I liked Joshs Girl's idea, but then there may be tables where no one is married. cute idea!

Yeah, I've seen weddings give it to the one w/ the longest marriage or the oldest lady. :P

Hmm.. I have never heard of the birthday one. I agree, giving it to the couple that has been married the longest.

There are actually a lot of tables with no married couples, or just one married couple, so I am not sure how that would work.  I agree, person with the next upcoming bday.  Thanks everyone for the suggestions!
