You can buy spray on chalkboard paint and turn any flat surface you like into a chalkboard-trays, picture frames etc.

I have grown and used wheatgrass to make centerpieces many times. I would grow it in any disposable foil tray and then cut it to size to fit the trays you are going to use on the tables.That way there is less risk of damaging the finish of the wood trays.

It’s spring time and everywhere you go there are planting/gardening accessories out! Avoid any store you might go to for “crafts” etc (the first places you usually think of for a wedding craft) and try home and garden stores, greenhouses, and even big box stores like Home Depot, Lowe’s or Wal-Mart! They often have a large variety at good prices!
