I think its such a cute idea!  If its outside and informal go for it.  After all, everyone loves pie!  I asked my friends what they thought about me doing a photobooth for my wedding and they all said “No, but you should have pie.”  I didn’t ask them anything about pie to begin with lol.

I think they are really adorable. You may consider having some kind of glassine or wax paper bags in case people want to take them home instead of eating on the spot.

The only issue I’d be concerned with is whether these would survive. If it is a warm day, will they fall apart? Can they stand like that in the heat withiut crumbling?

@marinesfiance:  Cellophane would help, jsut something so you can pick it up and set it down in the car or stick it in your suit pocket on the way out 🙂

@marinesfiance:  Oh good, I was sitting here thinking ‘ok, this is outside and she’s just going to leave these pie pops sitting out where the bugs can get them for how long?’ If they are wrapped up I think it’s a cute idea (Provided you don’t have any small children who would go around and take all of them at the start of the reception. I’ve seen some of my cousin’s kids take all of the edible favors before people even sat down.)

@marinesfiance:  Unfortunately I have no such expectations of my cousins. They let their kids run around and be little monsters at family gatherings. One of them seriously let her son not only ride his bike inside my parent’s house, but also up the walls of our house >.< I’ve got 30 children on my guest list and at least 11 will be under 5. I cringe at the thought of them all at my wedding, but at least going in with low expectations means I might just be pleasantly suprised. I hope your guests with children are more attentive and curteous parents.
