Good taste! :) I actually found the same picture and gave it to my florist for our centerpieces.
DId you end up purchasing the stem candle holders and vases from dollar store?
I was about to do the very same thing, but someone commented on one of the reviews that
the stem candle hoders from there were light and not very sturdy and only held tea-lights instead of the floating candles, and I coudn't find vases that size for cheap, only small 5 inch tall ones. Any suggestions?
Very pretty. I love the elegance and simplicity of all of it!
I love these!!! I am going to use it as my inspiration:) Its sooo classy and inviting!
I did purchase the candle holders and vases and the dollar store, but I bought them in bulk online and am waiting to receive them still. I also found a picture where a couple took stem candle holders and a tealight candle and instead of water, they put a small amount of decorating sand in the bottoms of each holder, and it came out very pretty. I am going to try both ways once we get them and I'll let you know what I find out. But like you, I couldn't find anything similar for as inexpensive as the dollar store, so even if we have to bypass the water, I think it will still be worth it.

I found this picture (sorry, I do not remember where... somewhere throughout Google) and have decided that this is what I want our centerpieces to look like at our wedding. My FI's basically-other-mother is a florist and will be doing all of our flowers the day of. Our venue provides centerpiece mirrors and some votive candles with our wedding package. And I can buy cases of the stem candle holders and flowers vases from Dollar Tree online by a case of 36. This will be perfect since our wedding will have 200 people (or 20 tables). What do you think?? And recommendations??
