DD's are a bit disappointing but there isn't much I can do about it...we are on such a tight budget.  Basically the centerpieces are repurposed pom balls fom the wedding aisle after the chairs are moved off the lawn and to the tables.  And now the venue has graciously added four more tables so now I am four centerpieces short.  Trying to think very creatively and cheaply but here is what will be on the other tables.   Sorry, bad huge picture but it is the vase and pom (not background stuff) and there will be coffee beans in the vase, it will sit on a smallish mirror tile, have a cranberry or orange table runner, five small orange votive candles, salt and pepper shakers, orange mini frames with table numbers and a white 5x7 frame with a 'guess who' couple facts game.  We had planned for eight tables with the orange runners and eight with cranberry and then the pom balls on the vases match to the runners.  Now to be creative...Centerpiece Pics! : wedding Centerpiece Trial

Here is a sample of ours. We got to go check them out a few weeks ago and got to take one home. They smell SOO good, but I felt like such a bridezilla because i said I hated it. It's not what I wanted. Well, kinda. I love the candle and the colors, but it's to much greenery and not enough oranges and reds and I thought the yellow flowers looked cheap and fresh off of someones front lawn. I cried on my way home.

Hopefully I wont cry when they deliver the final product next week.

@geminidream: Those will look so nice. And it is good to reuse decorations in other areas!

@Karen91602: Aw Karen, I'm so sorry you were disappointed by your flowers but as a guest I would think they are just stunning!  Did you get a chance to contact the florist later to re-emphasize the reds and oranges in your order?  If not, I bet you will be so happy and so busy on your wedding day that the centerpieces won't bother you a bit and really just from a floral standpoint they are beautiful.

    Crossing fingers for you!

@LongDistancePlanning: Very clean and elegant, what is the filler in the vase?

@geminidream: Thanks. Black river rocks. We got a 22lb bag online for about $40 with shipping.
