I love the concept and I don't think the tester is too bad. It just seems like there are a few too many flowers in the jar to give it the free floating affect in the inspiration photo. Are you going to use different types of flowers in the different vase sizes?
Oh and those cakes look yummy!
@FloretteLiz: Yeah, I just grabbed one stem to use for the tester. But there will definitely be more in the real deal. And there will be different types of flowers.
I think it looks pretty. I agree you are going to want to put more in the real centerpieces, but i like the concept :D
I really would like less flowers and more branches actually. Kind of like the one to the right in your inspiration photo.
I think it would look a lot better if the sides of the vase were straight up and down, rather than fluted (i think that's the word I am looking for?)
@Subrosa: I definitely agree with that! We just bought a few more vases without the "fluted" sides.

I agree. Great idea, but I think the vase needs to be smaller and thinner, and not fluted. Good luck!
I agree with the other posts... I saw a photo (cant find it) that was like this but they had the vases on a centerpiece light base and it really looked awesome...
Have you thought about using something like that?

At first glance I think it's a little weak. I will definitely be getting lighter flowers, and there will be a few vases of different sizes around it with different flowers and floating candles. But, for starters, what do you guys think? (:
