It’s that time again…time for one of my freak outs. I bought some candelabras back in October. I really liked them, and thought they added an interesting touch. However, as time wore on, I couldn’t stop thinking about the fact that they were considered a Halloween item.
So, I bought these this weekend:
To alternate with these:
Here’s my dilemma: do I still have flowers somewhere on the table or no? We’ve already signed a contract with our florist, but I figured we could always repurpose them elsewhere (cake table, gift table, etc.). Any and ALL advice welcome.

You posted on my post in another thread…but hey I didn’t realize we had the same Candleabras!!
Yes they came from the Halloween section. But they’re gorgeous!!! I’m not sure I’m following your question…but I think you’re first choice looks a lot nicer then the second ones. As far as flowers go you could have them or not…I think the candleabras are striking enough on their own…we’ll be doing a small bowl vase on either side with a hydrangea.

@KelannaDC: They are gorgeous and def don’t look Halloweenish…..you have no need to worry! As pp mentioned maybe adding a few flowers or petals around the base of it!

I really like the first and second. . . not necessarily the third. I think it depends on the look you want to go for. #1 and #2 are two completely different looks. I think the candelabras on their own look great without flowers. If anything maybe some petals scattered on the table, but nothing more than that.

@KelannaDC: I love the ones you bought originally, they are gorgeous and don’t look like halloween decor. I prefer the first photo and the third photo if you plan on alternating every other table. #2 does not go at all with #3

Thanks everyone. Our theme, such as it is, is vintage glamour. The reason I was thinking of doing #2 and #3 is that the wife is from Oregon, super earthy, and like the branch/nest look of #3, whereas I’m a city girl, uber girly, and love all things sparkly and crisp and feminine.
Bah! Why am I doing this anyway? LOL

You ladies are awesome! After a talk with our florist, we decided to go with #2 on all of the tables. It fits our vintage glam theme better, and should look stunning in the ballroom.

Are you wanting to sell the black ones? Michaels won’t have them until late July and Im looking to purchase them.
