I was actually just at a wedding with green apples in vases, and it really looked great!  And I’d imagine not so expensive.  🙂  The wedding had a rustic country feel, and the apples in the vases really fit in well.

I don’t know if i’m feeling the led light thing. what about something like this? these are limes, but it might work. looks like they have candles on top. i like the candle idea better.

if you couldn’t put candles floating you could just put apples without water and put candles around the bottom.

Agreed!!  Fresh Fruit is a wonderful and REASONABLE alternative to flowers!  We are using them…

Love this idea! The green is a nice pop, and probably much cheaper than flowers.

We did green apples too!  So much cheaper than an arrangement, and they definitely popped!  We just had a little water in the bottom and a few flowers stuck in there too!
