We have changed out centerpiece numerous times but all surrounding the same basic foundation. well, they have evolved again.
i decided i didn’t want to bother with flowers and i saw this article in DIY Bride and thought it was perfect.
so we went from this (mini mock up) dont mind the lop sided ball =)
its a little rough as i did not have the materials i needed at home to test it and improvised using what i jad lying around and the water will be a bit higher so the candle will be up higher.
i know the flowers give it a little extra something but i actually like it without them and I’d rather save the couple hundred dollars and use it elsewhere.

I love the flowers but I think the new version really pops and is unique!

I like them both! I would use both centerpieces, alternating each table. It will save in flower cost and the difference in the centerpieces will play off each other and make the other stand out.

I like it better without flowers!

thanks! there will also be a black runner underneath but they have not arrived yet

i like the second one a lot better!
i would scatter some white rose petals instead of those fake crystal things.

Yeah I agree with PP. I really loved those crystals and then I got them and was like maybe not. I decided on rose petals instead for scattering. Also this is knit-picky, but does the fourth candle holder not have a ribbon because you ran out, or because it won’t have one? That’s just one of those things that would drive an OCD artist like me CRAZY! I’m guessing it’s just because it’s a mockup. I really love the new one better though because of the glow it gives off. I’m hoping to have glowing centerpieces also! I think the flowers distract a little bit from the sweet graphics and the candle helps illuminate them and make it stand out. Great job!

How did you add the info? What kind of paper is it glued on the inside?
