I was having the hardest time figuring out what to do for favors and for centerpieces, when my mom (who is a plant freak) thought it would be unique to use plants as my centerpieces (since my colors are camouflauge) and then since her sisters and many of my cousins are also plant freaks, we could use them as the favors as well. I just don’t know what to do about the people that won’t get a plant (45 plants with over 400 guests). Can anyone help me?

I’m not sure if I like the idea so much, how would you decide who gets the plants? What if several “plant freaks” were sitting at the same table. Would they take them from other tables?
I know with work functions, we put a sticker under one chair at each table, and whoever had the sticker “wins” the centerpiece.
For the people who don’t get plants…maybe you could have packets of seeds at the door on their way out that they could take if they wanted. That way you leave it up to them and they don’t feel left out if they don’t get a centerpiece.

@Ryansgirl: That’s my biggest concern, is who is going to get plants and who isn’t and we’re having different plants throughout the whole are, so if more people want one kind of plant and the others don’t want another… IDK! lol. Luckily, we aren’t doing table seating, there’s just too many people, and my aunts don’t fight over stuff like that and maybe I’ll go parents and aunts first, then cousins, then guests if there’s any left. I’ve been to weddings tho that didn’t have any favors, just food, cake, and a thing of nuts at your place setting.
