I keep thinking of how I want my centerpieces to be and I know I want birdcages the only thing I don’t know is do I just plop it down in the center of the table? I feel it would look weird just sitting there in the middle with nothing underneath or around it. What was yours? Was it just in the center or did it have something underneath or around it?

maybe something like this ..
or maybe a ribbon around the bottom will just do it
personally I prefer the second one

@braz: I like the second one too, for some reason the candles outside the birdcage just don’t look right to me. I can’t explain why, I like the look of just the one, I’m just worried it will look lonely or sad in the middle by itself.

Just google birdcage centerpieces. You wil see that the ones where the cages are used by themselves look great. Many people choose to add candles, especially for an evening wedding, as the flickering light is so pretty, but you don’t have to.
You will also see that some brides place them on a base that works with their theme.

Lots of ideas on google. You could use some other vases or jars with flowers in addition to the bird cages.

You could set it on a doily, which may be pretty!

A friend of mine had a wedding recently and she set birdcages around the venue but they were on the floor. It turned out soo cute!
