I say you need the lanterns, they say “beachy”. Mason jars say “country” to me. I would also add more cheap seashells to tie it all together.

@chica_b: I think the items in the first picture seem kind of…unconnected? The lace trimmed mason jar, the glittery table number, and the seashell don’t really look like they belong together. I think you have some of the right elements, but they just don’t quite come together.

I would get rid of the glittery table number. I also think you could do with a little blue decor to tie in the hortensias. You could use more shells too.

Here are some ideas that might help:

Put another option in – I really like the lanterns on their own!

@chica_b:  Love the lanterns, but all the pieces together would be a hot mess.

I would use a pillar candle in the lantern and place the hortencia (hydrangea) at the base of the candle, like this pic

You can still scatter your seashells and use the table numbers if the scale is right. It`s hard to tell sizes from the pics.

I agree with pp, the mason jars with lace don’t match a beach theme the way you have them set up. Maybe using elmers glue and blue food coloring to make them blue, add more shells, and change the numbers by using a light beach sand. I think the lanterns are fine tho just add some blue tea lights.
