ShhhItsaSecret:  I feel like the Central is anywhere from coast to coast from Winter Park to Tampa, but agree it’s an odd catagorizing. But bu those standards I’d say you’re a Central FL bride 🙂

I live in St. Petersburg but grew up in Sanford/Mount Dora area and our wedding is in Winter Park! I also noticed that we had a lack of Central Florida Bride activity. 😉

PossumGirl:  We’re getting married at The Estate on the Halifax next May. They really limit catering between Aunt Catfish on the River and Suff and Puff Catering, if we were to go with anyone else there’s a 20% upcharge! So we’ll hopefully be finalizing Aunt Catfish in the coming weeks 🙂

@possumgirl Have you thought of looking into a food truck? I’m not sure where your venue/style is but my sister had one for her wedding at Harmony Gardens in March of 2014 and it was yummy, cute and afforadable!

I’d do some reseach and see what food trucks offer the type of food you are looking for. My sister had one that gave everyone a portion of Shrimp N Grits and Jumbalaya so hers was pretty southern. But I have seen all different varieties!

Hi everyone, I grew up in the Orlando area and currently live in Oviedo.  We will be getting married next April in Howey-in-the-Hills.  Our venue has in house catering, but the food truck idea sounds really cute.  Maybe you can try going to some of the food truck events to find one that will work for you.  There are usually montly events where you can visit multiple vendors, like Food Truck Crazy, Food Truck Wars, and Food Truck Bazaar.
