If you're talking about just having your ceremony there, I think you just need to pay for a permit. There are a lot of limitations/restrictions on what you can have there, how many people, etc. Here's some more info:

our original wedding date was 9.18.2010, in central park! we still have Belvedere Castle permit too! it was only $25 and you can go to Central Park info online to see what parts need a permit and how much they are...there's certain rules too like no chairs or tents..stuff like that....it's realy inexpensive....and having the permit allows you to use certain areas....
Many couples are married in central park.
The ceremony only costs $25 (to get a permit) for most spots if you have more than 20 people. You only need your wedding party and an officiant to perform the cermony.

Wedding receptions are a bit more expensive since you have to use a Park vendor. I usually suggest a restaurant near by, depending if it is an elopement or a big ceremony.
