Centre stone in both ER and wedding band?

I feel that they compete a bit.  Can you post examples of what you’d like it to look like?  What cut is your center stone?

TheGridMonster:  Slannas:  Yep! That’s me — LOL. Those rings do both have center stones. The ERing (yellow gold) is around .5 and the anniversary ring center stone is .9. I think the size difference you mentioned (.5 and .25) would look great together, OP. For me, the .5 and .9 are a little too close in size. Does that even make sense?

I don’t usually wear them together — mostly because I feel like my ERing with anything other than a band gives me too much finger muffin top. (This is weird of me, I know. Ha, ha.)

Slannas:  Beautiful ERing! I think that sort of wedding band would look very pretty. Especially with the rubies and different shapes. I’ve been browsing different wedding bands lately, and I’ve run across a few styles that have a bigger center stone with smaller ones on the sides — low-set, like you mentioned.
