I need ideas….I never thought I would have trouble with this but I am! T.T
My wedding is a steampunk/victorian themed one, and the reception is going to be decorated appropriately, with the flavor of teatime. So we found these really cool teapots that are made of glass, and these tea balls that bloom as they brew: http://www.teavana.com/the-teas/blooming-teas?cm_sp=TheTeas-_-Main-_-Sale I love it!!!
But I’m not sure what else. I was thinking maybe a cast iron elegant looking candle holder with a flat part in the middle to rest the teapot on, that way I could have beautiful candles around to play some light onto the blooming tea, but I don’t know how I’d make it work. I know I care more about candles than flowers for the centrepiece lol trying to keep the floral bill down!
Anyone have any ideas?

Try the following for some more inspiration:
I love your theme/idea!
I like the idea of elevating the tea pots, would you be able to find some “cut crystal” cake platters? or cake stands? Just for some more ideas.
If you could put an iron candle holder on top of a crystal tray, then spread knick nacks like keys, gears, etc, and candles on the tray? Not sure if that description made any sense.

Thanks for the links! :3 I’ll definitely check that out! Yeah I did want them elevated so it’ll be like a centrepiece but a functional one because people can then serve the tea and get it refreshed when needed by the waiters :)!!!

You could also elevate the teapots on books. I’m not sufficiently familiar with steampunk to know if that is realistic that you would find suitable books in a thrift shop. You could always cover other books in an appropriate paper.

I never thought about books :O that would be great! We both love writing and reading too so that would look very lovely 🙂
