My mom passed away 9 years ago and I want to include her in my ceremony. I have rosary beads made from the dried flowers from her funeral that I will be wrapping around my bouquet. I’ll probably leave an empty seat with a candle in the front row of church. But I was also thinking of walking down the aisle with my dad to “Mama’s Song” by Carrie Underwood. I’m trying to arrange for my friend from high school to sing it at my wedding; she leads the choir at my church and sang at my mom’s funeral.
Would the song be too much? I don’t want to totally break down, and I don’t want it to be to sad. Thoughts???
