- Wedding: October 2013
I’m getting married in October and I’m very excited about it. But one thing makes me anxious and it’s the amount if people that actually invite themselves to your wedding. Am I alone in this… Or has anyone else had people actually ASK to be invited to their wedding? Over the past year I’ve had at least 20 people say “Oh can I come you to your wedding?” OR “I know I’m invited.. Right?” OR “Where’s my invitation?” This leads me to a situation where I feel pressured to invite these people but I can’t afford to feed them all. So I was told by someone that my response could be, “Anyone is welcome to the ceremony.” Is this okay? And if not, what do you do for those that are practically begging to be invited. We’ve actually have had to start a B-List for those that decline, but the B-List is still too long! We’re flattered but we cannot invite everyone we know. Help! What’s right and what’s wrong?
