I just posted about our songs :) I don't think you have to have any sort of indie flair to use those sorts of songs. I have a pretty traditional wedding ceremony, but just didn't feel "right" walking down the aisle to a classic wedding song. So whether or not you use more indie music or traditional music or a combination, just try to pick things that you like and kind of go together. I wouldn't have liked something that was very quiet and instrumental followed by something loud and crazy, if that makes sense. I like Sigur Ros and think you could deifnitley find some other songs that would work well with their stuff. Then I think it's fine to really mix stuff together at the reception.

Need your help!
I am working on my music selections for the ceremony. I absolutely love "Hoppipolla" by Sigur Ros and want to walk down the aisle to it. We have a pianist that knows how to play it. But I am not sure what other music selections would go with it for the processionals of bridal party, grandparents, etc. I don't know if it's okay to mix tradional or classic songs with something that is more indie especially since our ceremony isn't neccesarily having an indie flair.
Here's the song if you're not sure what it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xA42GC-grPo
So what are your thoughts bees? What songs do you think would go with Sigur Ros? Or what songs did you choose for your wedding?
