- Wedding: September 2011
We are having a band for our reception and they said they would play our ceremony music for us on a CD. I’m meeting with them in a couple weeks so I’ll have all my questions answered, but I’d like to start working on a few things now so I need your help! (I have never been to a wedding, so I’ve done a lot of research while planning my own but there’s still a few grey areas…)
Did you make some sort of playlist for your band/DJ to play while guests are being seated/wait for the ceremony to start? How long did you make it?
Our wedding party is quite small (2 bridesmaids, 2 groomsmen and a flowergirl).
I think I figured out a song for my bridesmaids and a song for myself. Do I need one for the flowergirl or is it the same song as the bridesmaids?
If you put the songs on a CD, did you have to make some shorter? or does the band/DJ just look at everyone walking down the isle and just switches song when the bride starts her walk? Isn’t there any weird transition?
Do I need any other songs?
Thanks for helping bees, I’m just so clueless how all this ceremony music is supposed to work!
