It seems as though we have similar tastes in music. Have you heard William Fitzimmons 'Afterall' ? you should check it out.
This is what I used as a Prelude to the ceremony:
<table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="609">
<colgroup span="1"><col span="1" width="333"></col><col span="1" width="276"></col></colgroup>
<tbody>
<tr height="17">
<td width="333" height="17">Song</td>
<td width="276">Artist</td>
</tr>
<tr height="17">
<td height="17">Moonlight Sonata</td>
<td>Beethoven</td>
</tr>
<tr height="17">
<td height="17">The 4 Seasons</td>
<td>Vivaldi</td>
</tr>
<tr height="17">
<td height="17">Claire De Lune</td>
<td>Claude Debussy</td>
</tr>
<tr height="17">
<td height="17">The First Kiss</td>
<td>Ever After</td>
</tr>
<tr height="17">
<td height="17">Everything</td>
<td>Michael Buble</td>
</tr>
<tr height="17">
<td height="17">Better Together</td>
<td>Jack Johnson</td>
</tr>
<tr height="17">
<td height="17">Somewhere Over the Rainbow (Right before Ceremony)</td>
<td>

</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
This is what I used for the walk down the aisle:
<table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="609">
<colgroup span="1"><col span="1" width="333"></col><col span="1" width="276"></col></colgroup>
<tbody>
<tr height="17">
<td width="333" height="17">Song</td>
<td width="276">Artist</td>
</tr>
<tr height="17">
<td height="17">Canon (Strings) - Bridal party, parents, and groom</td>
<td>Pachelbel (Everyone but bride walks down to)</td>
</tr>
<tr height="17">
<td height="17">Bridal Chorus (Get Better Version) - Bride and father</td>
<td>Wagner </td>
</tr>
<tr height="17">
<td height="17">Let's Groove - Prelude when we come down the aisle</td>
<td>Earth, Wind, and Fire</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
I considered walking to an acoustic version of "The Heart of Life" by John Mayer... it's pretty different! Or the fray's "It's for you"... so beautiful.
Here are some other songs you may want to consider:
1. By Your Side - Sade
2. Fairytale - Enya
3. Fallen - Lauren Wood
4. Hymn to the Sea - James Horner
5. Love Story - Taylor Swift
6. Storybook Love - Mark Knopfler
7. The Prayer - Josh Groban
8. This Never Happened Before - Paul McCartney
9. What the World Needs Now is Love - Burt Bachrach
10. Better Together - Jack Johnson
11. At Last - Etta James
12. Everything - Lifehouse
13. Happy Together - Turtles
14. Only Time - Enya
15. I Feel Good - James Brown (Would be great when you come down the aisle after getting married).
Let me know what you decide. Hope the suggestions help!

Hi everyone- I am getting married in May and am having a really hard time deciding on ceremony music. We are getting married in an outdoor garden and our DJ is able to play any song we want. I really want to do something beautiful, unique and memorable instead of traditional cannon in D and here comes the bride.
Right now I am thinking of having the bridal party walk down to either "Forever" by Ben Harper, "The Luckiet" by Ben Folds, or the instrumental version of Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars" by the the Vitamin String Quartet. I think I am going to walk down the aisle to Michael Buble's "Can't Help Falling in love with you". I really like modern songs like "this year's love" by David Grey, "Hold You in My Arms" by Ray Lamontagne and "Nothing Fancy" by David Barnes... just to give you an idea of the style of music I like.
Any suggestions would be welcomed!
