All of the hindu weddings I've been to have had live players who walked down the aisle first, one guy with a drum and one with a .... sitar? maybe? I don't know what its called. You can buy CDs of instrumental music like that if you don't want to hire the guys...

have you asked your reception dj? most of the companies can provide it all for you. this way you will get a discount and have to only work with one vendor.

So I am trying to plan a Hindu ceremony...I have not been to a Hindu wedding since I was like 10 years old. My question for you girls (and guys) is what type of music are you having during your ceremony? live music, such as a sitar player? I am going to have an aisle to walk down for the bridesmaids/parents/groom/me, what type of music/what songs do you suggest for this?
