So we were trying to decide on our ceremony music and think we have made up our mind. But, I have to heer from the bees! What do you think?
It is String Quartet arrangements of “pop” songs. Specifically the Vitamin String Quartet.
For the seating of my mother and grandparents- Beautiful Day (U2)
Precessional of FI and WP- Time of your Life (Green Day)
Processional of Bride- Angel (Natasha Beddingfield)
Exit Song- Hallelujah (Paramore)
Our First Dance will be “our song” but more, first dance appropriate- Chasing Cars (Snow Patrol)
Some Pre-ceremony songs just to set the tone will be:
Crazy Little thing Called Love (Queen)
All I want is you (U2)
Bubbly (Colbie Caillat)
The Scientist (Cold Play)
All You Need Is Love (Beatles)
Fireflies (Owl City)
Lay Lady Lay (Bob Dillon)

Sounds awesome. I want to have a bunch of VSQ covers playing while my guests are being seated for the ceremony, too. My top choices are In My Place (Coldplay), In Your Eyes (Peter Gabriel), Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want (The Smiths) and At Last (Etta James). My DJ looked at me like I had two heads when I tried to explain that I don’t want the originals, I want the VSQ covers! I’ll be putting all the songs on a thumb drive for him, I think. I don’t trust him to find the songs himself.

So I’m not crazy! lol. I LOVE VSQ and couldn’t be more excited that they have our song! Luckily our DJ says he will buy the songs because “If you want them then one day another bride will want it too so why not expand my music library!” Which is awesome.

I love your choices! U2, Green Day, Coldplay, Queen, Owl City, Snow Patrol! So much love!
I’m still deciding because my FI wants to walk in with his guys to the Star Wars theme music!!
We’re walking out to the Beatles ‘Wouldn’t it Be Nice’ and I think I’ll be walking to Ingrid Michaelson ‘The Way I Am’. I’m trying to think of a compromise.

I love it. We are having one song for the whole beginning of the ceremony, because we don’t have that many people and we want a very short ceremony. We are having “Going to California” by Led Zeppelin.
