Hows this for enthusiastic? I posted this yesterday but I think its def differant. I think maybe its not the wording, (but the wording def screams enthusiastic) but rather how its presented? Is there a particular kind of theme your going for?

Bride and Groom
Wish the honor of your presents
to witness their exchange of vows
Bride and Groom
Cordially invite you
to witness the sacrament of marriage
How's that?
We are going with "with joyful hearts....MB and RL request....." I presonally didn't want the request the honor line but for a church ceremony it's the right thing to do (so I've been told, and told...). Good luck.
I realize this is after the original poster's wedding--but try verseit.com! It is so creative--and for all kinds of social gatherings (weddings, graduations, birthdays, etc.)

We're printing out some ceremony-only invitations. Yes, less than three weeks out from the wedding! They are for people who expressed interest and have been verbally invited, but I wanted to give them something formal, too. We have about 40 extra seats so far (we deliberately overbooked so we could do this) so it doesn't really matter who comes or not on the day (so no RSVP required).
ANYWAY - I want the wording below to be a little more enthusiastic, but I can't make it work. We'd LOVE them to come celebrate (except, that word seems more appropriate to the reception than the ceremony) our ceremony with us! Any suggestions?

I need a thesaurus. 'Christian' wording like 'witness' is good too :) Witness our marriage?
