I would ask your officiant about past weddings they have done. They can give you an idea of what order things go in. I'll have to do that too because I'm not sure!

Hello Everyone,
I would like to thank this site, it has given me a wealth of information. There are a few items I would like to add into my wedding, but I have no idea what order to put them in.
I am having a traditional church wedding. I would like a white carpet that I will be monogramed (its a DIY project), I want both unity candles (to be lighted by both mothers signifying the joining of our families, and unity sand (to be poured by the minister, my fiance, and myself representing us and God.).
I have no idea what order to put these things in. Throw in a sermonette, a solo, and the signing of the wedding licence.
Although I have been to my share of weddings, I am drawing a blank. I tried looking at old programmes, but no luck. The kicker is my close friend is getting married 3 weeks after and she too is stumped.
Any suggestions.
Thanks
Xquisite
