We have 4 cousins (2 each) that we would like to have participate in the wedding ceremony.
Is 4 readers too many?
Is there a job that we can give to include someone, make them feel special, that is not a reader?

what about having them as ushers? have them light candles? I don’t know what kind of ceremony you’re having, if there are religious aspects you could incorporate them into.
I also have never been to a wedding with readers involved, so I’m not sure if 4 is too many or not. sorry!!
you could have them participate in the reception…are you doing a receiving line? if you are you can have them give out the gifts to your guests, or hand out the seating cards if you’re doing cards.

I think it would depend on how long the readings are. If they are short, I don’t think 4 would be too many. If they are long, maybe you could have two people take turns reading one reading, so you only have 2 readings.

Is it a church wedding? There are 3 opportunities for me to have people involved outside of the bridal party. 2 readings, and 1 person to lead a prayer. Two people could easily do the prayer bit, as it’s pretty long.
