I’m leaning on you for more advice! 😉 So we are having a piano player for our ceremony and are trying to decide on some songs for him to play. Here’s what I’m thinking so far…
For my entrance, I was thinking Coldplay–The Scientist
Recessional–Peanuts theme song (we both loved Snoopy as kids, so thought it was appropriate!)
Now we just need some songs to be played as people are coming into the chapel, etc. All ideas welcome, and thanks so much in advance!! 🙂

I had Ashokan Farewell for my processional, but it sounded great on the piano and could work for background music.

You sound like you like non-classical piano pieces, so my suggestion would be a piano version of "At My Most Beautiful" by REM. The piano in the original is beautiful and I think it would be lovely even without the vocals and other instruments.
I love the Peanuts song for the recessional! I had asked FI if we could walk into the reception hall to that song when we’re introduced, but I was overruled. Ah well.
