- Wedding: November 2013
We are not getting married in a church- there is no altar (I don’t know that this matterrs, I’m sort of just setting the scene)— there is also no “side entrance” for the officaint to come from, or the groomsmend/bestman/groom to come from. Basically everyone has to walk down the aisle to get into the room. So based on those facts, does this sound OK?
Bride’s Paternal Grandparents (I don’t know for sure if grandparents are going to be seated, or just enter he room after everyone else has been seated)
Bride’s (maternal) Grandma
Bride’s mom + stepdad
Bride’s Stepmom (possibly with my half brother- who is a Groomsmen…but if my Maid/Matron of Honor walks solo, then we’ll have that extra Groomsmen anyway–but I also don’t know if thats weird that a Groomsmen is escorting a parent?
Bestman—not sure who should come first here–Groom or Bridesmaid or Best Man, since they aren’t already going to be standing at the “altar”
Maid/Matron of Honor
Bride/Father + Ring Bearer together (the Ring Bearer is my son and he’s walking with us)
If my brother walking with my stepmom seems wierd, where do I out him? 2 maids with a Groomsmen seems ok to me, but 2 Groomsmen with 1 maid seems off to me.
Any suggestions would be great- I have a wierd line up with a weird venue and I am trying to figure this out!!
