We’re thinking of doing a fun Dr. Seuss reading as apart of our ceremony. I would love to hear your opinions on what you think would be better: having my little sis (11) read it because it has a childish tone or my fiance suggested that we hand out numbers to guests and then have them read the corresponding number line in the reading during the ceremony as a way to involve our guests. But I’m not sure if the guests will find that silly or it will be really difficult to coordinate. Help!!

I actually kind of like the number idea!

I think it would really cute to have your sister read it and that would also be a nice way to involve her. How does she feel about it — would she be shy, or not speak loudly enough? Depending on the size of the wedding and how outgoing she is, that could be great or not great.
If she wants to do it I think that’s your best bet!
I’m not sure how it would go to have everyone read, that could be hard to coordinate and might not go well without practice. Again, this would depend on the number of lines and who would be reading them. I’m sure either way will be memorable.

While I llke the idea of guest involvement – it could make some people feel REALLLY uncomfortable! I would stick with your little sister – I think it will sound more cohesive and undertandable that way too.
good luck and great idea!
