Need some ideas please! =]
<br />We are saying our own vows to each other that we each wrote.
But we need to figure out what all we want the minister to say before and after us.
We don’t want anything really traditional. Something with some religion/sprituality is fine. Neurtal is fine as well.
I appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

Sash2011: I would google different ceremony ideas (tons online) then sit down with your officiant and pick out what will flow together the best/work for you two. I was just sent mine from my minister, but there’s lots of god stuff in there because we’re being married in my family church.
Usually if you have a minister there will be a religious aspect, but talk to him, I’m sure he can help you out so it doesn’t sound awkward. Also google different types of unity ceremonies. Instead of the classic candle or sand you can do something different to add a bit of an edge. We’re thinking of literally tieing the knot… there’s tons of ideas! Good luck!

We had a non-religious ceremony and our theme was community. We had a ring warming ceremony and also had our guests take a vow as well. Like the PP said, there’s lots of different ways you can go about it!
