Can anyone recommend a ceremony site in LA? Our wedding date is 11/21/2009 and we’ve already booked our reception site in Chinatown. Can someone recommend a ceremony site that is preferably close to Chinatown (within 15-20 miles?). Our budget is about $1K-$3K.
Thanks in advance.

Check out the Japanese Cultural Center in Little Tokyo.
Where are you having the reception? I had my wedding on 11.22.08 in Chinatown at Marvimon.
We’re almost date twins 🙂

@ Mrs. Leopard,
Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve already contacted the James Irvine Garden at the JACC but was told that the garden was too small to hold our ceremony. I’ve also contacted the Marvimon to see if they would rent out their site for a ceremony only and unfortunately, they don’t (they only do full day rentals). You’re wedding must have been beautiful…I love the look and feel of the Marvimon.

The garden at the JACC is so gorgeous – that’s a shame they can’t fit everyone.
Marvimon only rents for the full day – it’s a little over $5000 for the entire day.
How about the Music Center:
or Disney Hall:
I don’t know if McGuire Gardens next to Pinot allows you to use their site for ceremony only. If they do, it’s a lovely place. We had our rehearsal there.
