Headhouse square is beautiful. My friend had her ceremony under the Shambles there and pulled up in a horsedrawn carriage. It was very cute.
@danadelphia - do you know if they had to have some type of permit to do it under the shambles? Thanks!
@smackdown
We are looking forward to having our ceremony at The Shambles in a few months! There is a contract (fee and insurance for space use are explicated therein) and you'll need work around time restrictions in relation to other events that are already scheduled (e.g., farmers' market). You can get additional details and a copy of the contract by contacting the South Street Headhouse District (I suggest calling):

Or, pm me if you have any questions.

Hey Bees!
I am wondering if anyone has any ideas for a ceremony site in Old City. I am totally obsessed with my reception space but am really worried about having enough room to do a switch over. I was recommended head house square and am totally interested but was wondering if anyone else had an idea. I'm getting married in May so i'm looking for possibly outdoor with a cover. I am really interested in historical sites so any ideas would be welcome. Stories, experience, lay it on me.....
