OK Bees I need you to be brutally honest. I love this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhifPQ55Z7Q (Heaven by DJ Sammy)
So I was thinking that it would be fun to play it after the ceremony is over and new Darling Husband and I walk down the aisle together.
I am really on the fence because it’s techno LOL… And I don’t want people to be like “wtf?”
So tell me what you think? Yay or Nay?

I love that song!! I think you can play whatever you want when it’s the song you walk out too (I mean, I think you can play whatever you want for the whole thing, but it’s less unusual to play a “fun” song for you walk out.)

I think you’re totally free for recessional songs – it should be upbeat and fun! Go for it.

What about for the entrance to your reception. Like when they introduce you and your husband.

Go for it. It’s your wedding; be yourself and make it memorable for you and your guests! At mine we played a a very pretty string quartet version of Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters” for the procession, and straight up metal version of “For Whom the Bell Tolls” for the recession. I think that playing music we like & grew up with made us more at ease in front of everybody.
