(Closed) Ceremony Time for a Fall Wedding

The time doesnt change this year until November 7th…Im getting married October 10 we have picked 5:30 so we will have the sunset as we are getting married but wont get dark until the recieption starts…….AND congrats on the wedding:-)

@PrncssDva: btw, I paid very close attention to sunset last October – and that calculation is pretty spot on.  Keep in mind that there is still some daylight after the sun actually sets – so it’s not all dark.  If you want the sun to set as you are taking your vows – I’d say a 6pm start time for you sounds about right!

Our ceremony is at 5 and will be over in time to still get photos outside in the daylight and even some sunset photos.

you can look online to see exactly what time sunset is, and plan around it… that’s what we ended up doing.

@PrncssDva:re: photography – do you have your photog yet?  I ended up picking our ceremony time around her advice (because we aren’t doing a first look – so all couple shots will be after the ceremony).  You also might want to get feedback re: ceremony photography and whatever lighting you’ll have during the ceremony.  If you are doing a first look before the ceremony – that will take care of your photo issue ๐Ÿ™‚
