crackktheskyy:  Hi!

I was a Cescaphe bride, wedding was Oct 2013. I loved working with them, but I would say the “endless horizons” doesn’t really extend to the flavor choices, at least in my case.

I asked for a red velvet cake and was told that it would be too soft to make as large as I would need. I can’t remember now, but I think I had a choice of like 4 flavors for the main layers. I went with chocolate chip. Our top layer (which is currently in our freezer) is red velvet.

Everyone raved about how delicious our cake was, so that’s a plus.

Also, I requested a really complicated design, and they knocked it out the park. Our cake was so gorgeous, I almost didn’t want to cut it.

Also, this pic makes the cake look small, but in reality it was pretty huge. Here’s a pic to show perspective. Please ignore my ridiculous face!

crackktheskyy:  I think what you are seeing in the pro photos is the photographers light fill. My pro photos have it too. The second photo I posted was taken by a friend, so no light fill. 🙂

We did amber uplighting on the walls and tons of candles. It was gorgeous, and didn’t feel bright at all.

Feel free to ask me anything! I love talking about my wedding, LOL!

I couldn’t remember what we chose for our fish, so I looked it up. Here’s our full menu:

This is my venue as well!  Can’t wait to see what the cake options are.  I’m definitely also going for the same lighting vibe as you- I don’t want all the lights on when everyone is dancing!  Please post a recap so I can see your decor and cake!

My wedding is 1/2/16.  I’m going to do amber uplighting.  My sister is trying to convince me to do the pin spotting which looks gorgeous, but I’m trying to keep costs under control. I have my appointment with Beautiful Blooms today after work!

crackktheskyy:  Beautiful Blooms went well- I actually liked them a lot more than the florist I met with last week in the suburbs. Meeting with one more on Thursday (if the weather cooperates).  Thank you for the tip about pin spotting- I haven’t received my quote yet but if I go with them I’ll definitely try to negotiate!  Can I ask why you chose your florist over Beautiful Blooms? I haven’t heard much about them.
