First, alot of weddings don't have themes, so its not a must have.
However, I do think weddings should have a cohesive "feel" and yours looks like it will have a nature/natural feel. You colors are nature inspired, so is that cake, and your centerpeices - so I would roll with that.
That means simple and natural is key (for example, no rhinestones or crytals on your centerpeices) instead if you want something draping think about moss or flowers. If you can steer away from satin linens, and stick with simple cottons.
And lastely, just because your "feel/theme" is nature, doesn't mean you have to go crazy with it & make everything nature - keep it simple and clean.
I wanted to say I completely agree. I feel that you DO have a theme and it will all look beautiful together. I too feel that it is a very natural theme. what a beautiful dress color too! I love bright color bridesmaid dresses

So early on in our planning, my FI and I had decided early on in the game we wanted green back and white. However, I don't really like the damask theme, and most green black and white themes I've found deal with a paler/apple green, where as I love the shamrock green (as in the bm dress picture below). So our bm bouquets are all anomes like this one. I bought the silk flowers already so they are done.
The BM dresses I would like (but aren't bought yet) are this green (just different styles), and i do loooove this green ( I think it would work with the flowers well too)
Now, I've fallen in love with the cake, and it has little black involved. It's more a green white and brown theme.
Also, I would love a manzanita branch centerpiece which is going with the brown instead of the initial black I wanted.
my question to you bees is, Do I have to much stuff going on? I feel like I am straying from my initial theme, but I love this new theme. Shoudl I change the dress colour? Give up my cake? Please help!!
