I'm not sure where you are, but the best thing for you to do would be to look either in the area of where you live, or where your reception will be. I live in Los Angeles, and there are literally party suppliers/event companies on every other block. Check with your local party companies - they usually have a variety of chair covers and sashes that are a cheaper than some of the larger places like dress my chair or BBJ.

Has anyone found a good (i.e. inexpensive source for shair sashes)? I would prever something opaque not transparent like tulle.
Also has anyone seen instruction on how to tie them? I especially like the obi knot. I've seen pictures but never step-by-step instructions.
