@ChuckNorris:  what kind of lunge? Post a video/gif? I’m stupid and I’m never very sure of names of things…  haha

You guys should invest in a foam roller. Roll your butt & hammies out for 5 min after lots of lunges & you will be feeling good the next day. (Use on back, arms, quads etc also!) Plus have a protein shake with 30 min of finishing your workout to increase muscle repair. Best to drink this protein as it gets there faster than chicken or eggs.

I’m a crossfitter! I have not noticed any added bulk from protein shakes! I am of the strong is sexy mindset though so I like having muscles 🙂 I used to be sore for 3-4 days after an intense workout (lunges & bench press were the WORST) and now I’m sore for maybe a day. Girl, get yourself right on that foam roller. It’s the BEST! And a lacrosse ball works wonders on upper body knots. Just press the knot against the ball while leaning on the wall. I had a massage last week and there were no knots! First time ever!

80!!! OMG MY LEGS.

I made sure I was doing them properly. Some at the end were pretty wobbly but I fixed them by tightening my core muscles.

FI got 87! He just wanted to beat me. Barely made it too. >:)

110!

Now, if we were doing a push up challenge, it’d be some super super pathetic number like… 3 or something. My legs are massive!

My quads were the only thing extremely sore. I also did 30 squats, Sunday was the first time I worked out with my new trainer. He wants me to do full body work out three times a week, cardio 6 times a week. I have always worked out with a trainer and up until now I have been very fit. The last year, the year I became engaged and we moved in together I have gained 50 pounds and haven’t been to the gym since. I was with my last trainer for 3 years and I am used to splitting up my days, like abs and arms one day, chest and back another. I told him I am not sure I can handle full body in one day. We will see.
