Hello! I’d like to have guest sign an oversized champagne bottle in leiu of a guestbook like the photo below, however i’m wondering if i need to take the label off to have more room? or if that would look…strange. Anyone ever do this?

I would leave the label on.. why couldn’t they sign over the label if they wanted to?

I’d be more concerned about how to store this properly until its time to consume..
People can sign over the label. Or, you can create a personalized label for it.

We did anniversary bottles for ours. 1 was champagne and the other 3 were wine. I don’t think you need to remove the label.

We’re doing a magnum bottle of a good red wine. (We’re getting a wine fridge ahead of time – that sucker is like $300!). Our label has a lot of white space, so I’m leaving it on. I may take of the backside label. I love this idea! We’re throwing a party and drinking it on our 10 year anniversary!
