I decided on a light champagne wedding gown, bought it offline and got it. But now I am not too sure about what color shoes I should wear.
I wanted to do light blue shoes to go with the theme of the wedding- light blue and light blue hydrangeas. I also have to wear flats because the groom is already 3-4 inches shorter than I am.
What do you all think? Would light/baby blue be okay? Or maybe stick with a cream or champagne shoe?

Can you post a picture of the dress and the shoes you’re thinking about?

I’d go with a dark or vibrant blue before a baby blue… maybe do a dark blue/light blue shoe? Or maybe a mixture of colors?

This is my dress and possible shoes. I would like to go with this color but I’m not thinking it would look right.

I really think those two colors are lovely together. Very sweet.

@kotadaylebw: I like them together! I think soft blue and cream compliment each other.
Where did you find those shoes anyway? 🙂

I have a light champagne dress and my shoes are a pinky ivory mix with a navy blue lace appliqué. They look really cute. I was worried about the blue too, so I kept it as just an accent color rather than the main event.

I like the combination, but I think I’d like it even more if the blue was slightly darker, like a tiffany blue. Then it woudl really pop.

This is the second time in 24 hours I have had to use this gif, but really, I must.

@saffy: I only googled “light blue wedding flats” so I could get across the color that I am still finding. i went too look for the shoes again today and couldn’t find the original site. I wish I could though!
I am thinking about getting some white shoes and using the mod podge + glitter idea to get light blue sparkley shoes and possibly make a satin or organza flower clip to add to it…
Thanks everyone for the ideas! I really appreciate it. I am feeling more confident with these color combos 🙂
