It's funny you should say this. I am wearing a dk. red dress and and am considering champagne shoes
. I am just having the worst time trying to find a pair of shoes that match my dress color.
Scottie I actually bought a pair of beautiful champagne shoes from DSW shoe warehouse for $40...they were the last size 8's to be found of the model. Depending on your size you may want to check the website http://www.dsw.com/shoe/kelly+.and.+katie+night+out+satin+slingback?prodId=202500 They are super comfy!
Those are lovely 7! I found these at David's Bridal too...http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_Satin-Peep-Toe-Platform-High-Heel-with-Bow-Maribelle_Accessories-Shoes-Peep-Closed-Toe
@Scottielass: OMG! I'm wearing a red wedding dress too! What does yours look like and can I see a pic of the shoes? (I have NO idea what shoes to get.)
@future Mrs.Merfeld: absolutely - - I am wearing eggplant Jimmy Choo patent leather peep toes - - Color makes everything that much more fun! Rock the red hells, girl
I'm wearing a light gold dress with bright royal blue shoes!
I think any bright color will work!
Cranberry & Champagne is a delicious drink too.
Thanks all for the great suggestions on shoe options.
This is what I had for the first round on shoes. Love the look. Kind of surprised myself in choosing something with a small platform. They are way more comfortable than I expected. The color is a bit brighter than the dress, though. Sorry I can't show them on. I sprained my ankle pretty badly yesterday, and it looks like a black & blue baseball right now.

Not only does it have a peep toe, but there is a peep heel, too.

This is a sneek peek on the dress. Can't show the whole thing. My mom gets rights on seeing me in it first
. Ignore the bead work (hated that, but loved the color and shape of the dress). Pulled that off a couple of weeks ago. Will have white cherry blossoms embroidered on the skirt.

EDIT-So sorry on the monster picture size
. I thought I could resize them.
I have a champagne dress and I'm wearing burgundy shoes. I like the way they look together and its a lot easier than trying to match the champagne color with shoes!
Thanks for all the wonderful input bees...I'm on the hunt for the perfect red shoes!
I found them! The flash makes them look much brighter, they're closer to cranberry...

Yay my first post! Just wanted some opinions...the gown I bought is Maggie Sottero's Milana in Champagne w/ light gold over lay. Do you think red shoes would look good? My thoughts- 1. no one's really gonna see your shoes except BM's and the photographer 2. What color doesn't go with red?!?
