so i am a huge DIY bride and im planning on DIYing my flowers… well my Mr and i decided to move the wedding back year.. i already ordered them and there is no refunds or change of dates.. so now im going to have 100 stems of white roses (could be off white) and white hydrangeas on the 12th and 13th of july… i wanted to know if there is any local brides in the Portland Oregon area getting married that weekend that cant afford flowers id be willing to donate these.. id even be willing to make a few arangements if needed. it would be a great practice run for me… let me know 🙂

You should contact a local church and see if they have anyone getting married that is in need. It’s very sweet of you to donate them!

if you cant find anyone maybe drop them off at local hospital/nursing home/retirement home..

I bet the ladies at Something Borrowed could help; they would have info on ladies getting married at that time or could help you find a home for them.

I’m not in Portland, but my aunt & uncle are. Actually, I have 2nd cousins in Wilsonville! I live up near Gig Harbor, WA. But with my relatives so close to you, it could be easy to even get the flowers back to you.
*I guess I was reading this as artificial flowers. But now re-reading, I’m thinking real? So I guess that wouldn’t work. lol Whoops.

@kitcat12: is your wedding on the weeken of july 14th??? cuz if you want you can have the real flowers… your family can pik them up and bring them to the wedding… idk if you want them you can have them 🙂 just let me know
