Definitely keep it! I think it would be beautiful on the beach! If you wanted to “beachy” it up a little bit, you could add a sash in a (“beachy” 😉 color?

Your wedding is the one time in your life where you can be a little more fancy! Live it up, it’s a gorgeous dress and I don’t think it’ll be too fancy. 🙂

AHH you guys are really starting to convince me.. i also have a jcrew sophia silk tricotine in ivory that i thought i would wear becaus ei could wear it out afterwards and if it got dirty i wouldn’t care.. pictures would be WAY more beautiful in this gown.. but i’d littereally wear it for just the ceremony and pictures (1 hour) and dinner and drinks (2-3 hours) then change to go bar hopping with our very close friends.. i just feel rediculous spenind close to 800 on this sucker for a few hours.. but i guess a big wedding wouldn’t have been much different huh?

It’s a gorgeous dress, definitely for a beach wedding as well!

It is perfect for a beach wedding! Not to dressy at all. Even if it was it is your wedding and you only wear a wedding gown once!

I have the same dress (same size!) for a June wedding on the water with parents and our closest friends! We’ll have 15 guests. If you love the dress, don’t change it just because the wedding is smaller than you anticipated. You look beautiful and I think it’s perfect for a wedding on the water/beach or even a mountaintop! Your pictures will be stunning and a smaller wedding gives you a chance to spend QT with your besties all together. How great is that? 🙂

I live in Florida, and I have seen girls in huge ball gowns get married on the beach, wear the dress you love!

i love it soo much.
but it already cost me 750 with undergarmets.. and another 50 if i alter it to fit properly…
im just scared after teh wedding and dinner.. i will RUIN it bar hoppin.. but i suppose i could switch into a shorter white dress for that part of the night..
i just feel crazy wasting 800 bucks on three – four hours of my life..
for 12 people to see.. and tuns to see pictures.. idk.. so confused!
