I think you should add silver and do hints of gold. The gold color will make it warmer.
You could go with champagne? kind of a cross between silver and gold. I think either way your color choice will be really classic.

Hi bees,
So, our wedding colors were ivory, gold, and black (we're having a winter wedding). But now that I finally have my dress that has silver beading on it, and seeing all of my wedding look together, I don't like the gold in our colors. So I've decided to change it to ivory, black, and silver. Luckily, I didn't get too ahead of myself and only have to re-purchase some flowers and things for the men's boutonneires.
But I asked my mom for advice, and to see whether or not I should keep the gold and feel weird about matching, or change it to silver and be happy with everything, so I decided to change it. Ugh, makes things a little more difficult, but I'd rather be happy with the whole look of our wedding, rather than being caught up on everything matching.
