@cubaneli: What type/style/color bolero are you thinking of? That might help me decide…

@cubaneli: I really like it! But I’m kind of wondering if maybe you should go with a less lace-embellished veil to wear with it? I’m just concerned it might be “too much” with all of it together. Granted the bride in the last pic has  a veil that has thick lace as well, but her dress doesn’t seem quite as detailed as yours. I think it’s because of the tier detail on your dress, which I really like btw. I’m curious, is there a specific meaning to you for wanting to wear it during the ceremony? (Not trying to be disrespectful, just curiosity.)

I love the look of the bride in the last photo. It seems like the lace in the photo is very similar to the one you picked out? I think it will look great together!

I just tried on the cairo dress today.  I already put a down payment on a Romona Keveza which I’m unsure about.  My sales person said it would be an “even trade” if I switched from RK to the Two by RC dress.  The RK dress is $3300, but she wouldn’t tell me how much the cairo dress it.  How much did you pay for it if you don’t mind me asking.  I saw somewhere someone said it was $2300-$2400.  If you could help me at all, I would very very much appreciate it!!

Also, how did you make out with the bolero?  I was hoping to do add the same thing to my dress.  I just hope that isn’t going to be an additional $$$!

I had a Two by Rosa Clara dress as well!  I LOVE your dress but vote no on the bolero for the ceremony.  The dress stands on its own and is so gorgeous I don’t think you want to cover it up since it will be the first time everyone sees you.

I actually ended up doing a navy lace bolero for the reception instead of the ceremony.  I was worried the lace on lace wouldn’t match but it actually looked great with my dress and added a pop of color.  Not sure what the Rosa Clara one’s cost but I ordered mine from Holly Stadler on Etsy for about $170  http://www.etsy.com/shop/hollystalder. She custom designs them in any color you want.

I also agree with one of the earlier comments about the veil.  I ended up doing a really simple ivory veil, again ordered from etsy and it matched my dress perfectly http://www.etsy.com/shop/simplebeautyveils?ref=pr_shop_more.  The rosa clara designs have so much going all already that I almost skipped the veil altogether because I didn’t want to compete with the dress.

    Best of luck!
